Dave Lee, The Linc’s founder and former University of Lincoln’s journalism student, has been shortlisted in two categories for the Press Gazette (PG) Student Journalism Awards this year. The event is free to enter and is intended to be a showcase for tomorrow’s journalistic talent, with many previous winners going on to national press stardom.
The categories Dave has been shortlisted for are - Student Editor of the Year - and Student Multimedia Journalist of the Year -, where he is competing against fellow journalists from University of Central Lancashire, Bournemouth University and Leeds University. Dave is currently working in New Zealand, teaching online journalism at Whitireia Journalism School.
